A Thanks to Our Record-Breaking Number of Riders!

Posted on August 25, 2014 by Administrator

The Utah Law Enforcement Memorial board members would like to thank all of the supporters of our annual Ride For Fallen Officers, both those that came down to the ride and those who couldn’t make it down this year but have in the past and will in the future.

As you may have heard at the Memorial it was said we had approximately 6000 riders this year. Numbers have come in since and it was closer to 7000 riders! This is 2600 more than last year! While we are ecstatic with the increase in participation we know that it created longer lines at Timpanogos Harley-Davidson than in years past. We apologize and we want to thank you for your patience with those long lines. We sincerely hope this won’t discourage anyone from coming in future years. Since the day of the ride we have been discussing ways to speed up the registration and the purchasing of ride memorabilia and we will be implementing changes to the process next year.

In addition to making day of registration easier we are looking at ways to enhance our pre-registration process. Our goal is to make registration easier and faster. We are implementing changes that will also allow you to purchase Memorial memorabilia more quickly and efficiently.

We also want to thank our ride volunteers, many of whom have volunteered many years in a row, sacrificing their personal time to help make the ride a great time for everyone.

Finally, we want to thank our sponsors. Timpanogos Harley-Davidson. Rick Story and the rest. KBER 101, Channel 2 News, Burt Brothers Tire & Service, Toyota Bountiful, The Advocates, The Law Tigers,

Again, thank you to everyone for coming down and supporting our ride and supporting the Utah Law Enforcement Memorial and honoring our fallen heroes and their survivors.

See you all next, August 16th 2015!
